Chimay is the Belgian beer that inspired Belgian-inspired beers. Brewed by Cistercian monks since 1862 at Scourmont Abbey, Chimay belongs to a community of only 14 Trappist breweries in the world. Chimay’s signature beers include the Grande Réserve (Blue), the Première (Red), the Cinq Cents (Triple / White), and the Dorée (Gold).

La mia preferita tra le Chimay. Ho aperto una bottiglia che avevo provato a lasciare qualche anno in cantina e il gusto è ancora migliore. Colore scuro, schiuma cremosa color nocciola. Tämä stong blonde on vaikea laji, harvoin mitään todella hyvää näistä kyllä löytyykään. Tässäkin hieman alko puskee läpi eli ei mikään ihan huippu tuotos.
