Flight 5/5. Opaque, glowingly black beer with timid, rapid carbonation unlocks a beautiful, chocolatey head that dies gradually away but clings tightly to the wall of the glass with multiple tiny splatters. The nose loves the aroma of dark chocolate and light mocha, a decent amount of licorice and a burned note. The tastebuds enjoy the boozy oaky taste in which edgy licorice and raw chocolate feature notably. A drop of mocha and a good pinch of roasted coffee beans can also be identified among the gustatory elements. The body is medium-full. The beer ends with sharp licorice and a boozy, slightly woody note. Strong licorice, bitter raw chocolate and a tad coffee beans help a lot with the finishing enjoyment. The aftertaste is medium to long. The mouthfeel is strong and somewhat edgy, heavily burned and somewhat charred as well as noticeably boozy. It's also a bit oily, recognizeably creamy and woody. This seemed to be also my 100th Australian drink. 🇦🇺

Flight 4/5. Opaque, oily, pitch black beer with subdued, short-lived carbonation unleashes a pale fawn cotton head that adorns the top throughout the entire drink. The fragrance puts forward dry black malt with a thin burned touch. The palate is relatively dry and a tad burned: black burned malt, a bit of overstayed black coffee, some licorice root and a distinct ashy note. The body is light-medium. The beer finishes with a somewhat charred nuance, burned malt and unsweet raw licorice and a pinch of roasted coffee beans. The aftertaste rolls on tongue for a long time. The mouthfeel is dry, relatively strong, faintly oily, somewhat burned and a little bit charred.

Flight 3/5. Clear, deep amber beer with good, sustained carbonation builds a snow-white, velvety head that descends soon to a thin lace ring on top. The scent is more or less nonexistent, later it opens up with sweet Pommac nuance. The taste offers a slightly perfumy essence of grapefruit and a bit of caramel malt, followed by raisin, bitter honey and decent fruity hops. The body is light. The beer finishes with light-hoppy malt with a caramelly touch, fermented raisin and grapefruit. The aftertaste is medium. The mouthfeel is light, somewhat synthetic and odd as well as soft. It's also a bit meady.

Flight 2/5. Turbid, pale milky orange beer, really astonishing appearance! The rich, restrained carbonation unleashes a white, cotton head that adorns the top as a frazil-icy lacing and neat lace ring for significantly long. The fragrance is massively fruity: sweet homemade strawberry nectar. Oh mama!! The taste is thinner and quite sour: strawberry mash and a bit of rhubarb. The light-bodied beer ends with sour strawberry juice and lemon pulp over a prolonged period. The mouthfeel is light, tart, juicy and puckering. Interesting and unique!
