Pretty ok, decent maltiness, taste of burnt bitterness

Very tart beer okay for now here in Florida enjoying my vacation

Thick foamy tan head that continues for a long time without dissipating. Color is a very deep clear red. Aroma thats rich, roasted and moderately strong. A texture that's not thick, more flat and dry. Flavor brings a rich malt, some semi-sweet cocoa coming through. Earthy roasted finish with a trailing bitterness. Gets better with each sip.

A gift from my son on his trip to Pensacola. Brought me back a 32-oz growler of Blackbeard stout. Medium-high head, very thick and frothy. De ep tan in color. Not much aroma. Color is deep brown and opaque. Texture is light and crisp. Flavor is bittersweet chocolate in the forefront, powerful. Not much evidence of the alcohol. Finishes a powerful bittersweet chocolate that lasts quite a while. Really, really excellent brew.
