This is the 9th beer that I sent to Texas for Duo. Missed taking the photo when first poured. Was tranced by how high and full it was. Color is orange and hazy. Aroma has sweet and tart citrus fruit. Flavor gives the expected sour, tart characteristic but the tropical fruit is a disappointment. I was looking forward to the pink guava and the passion fruit but all I got was citrus with notes of orange. No flavors distinguished themselves. This fruit punch definitely did not send me to paradise.

Hard week at work, catching up after vacation. Time to kick back and enjoy a new brew. Having a Mexican lager along with my Mexican meal. Has almost no head and that dissipates completely. Not much aroma. A darker yellow than most Mexican lagers. Totally clear. Light and crisp. Has the cerveza flavor you would expect but a little stronger. I think stronger is better. Bitterness on the back end but not distracting. Good beer with food. Or maybe just anytime.

Still enjoying the lake while kayaking. Has very little head. Deep yellow in color, slightly hazy. Light and dry mouth feel. Light flavor with only a little bitterness. Not much carbonation. Smooth finish. Good on a hot day.

The second Oktoberfest in tonight's beer tasting. This one's from Muscle Shoals AL. It has a very high very thick head that is lasting. Color is clear orange Amber not as deep colored has some. Flavor is the same malty Oktoberfest that I'm accustomed to. Has a little punch to it which I like. Almost creamy its so smooth. Has an unusual bitter aftertaste on the finish. If not for the finish I would have graded it higher.

Pours with almost no head. Aroma is of alcohol and prune. Add strong coffee to the taste. Feels thick, almost too much. Very sweet, powerful. Finish is of bitter sweet coffee. Good beer.

Medium sized head, thick and lasts. Very dark reddish brown color, not quite opaque. Soft sweet aroma. Taste starts mildly sweet then quickly turns a roasted bitter. Very dry finish. It's different, I like it.
