Parinsormenleveyden verran vaaleaa vaahtoa samean keltaisen hiukkasen valoaläpipäästävän oluen yllä joka tuoksuu kepeän hedelmäisen sitruksisen pajuisen vihreän mehuisalle ja maistuu lempeän rapsakan sitruksisen vihreän greippisen pihkaisen greipinkuorisen mehuisalle, neljä ja vartti ylöspäin. PE: ei ole. Tölkitetty: 01/28/25.

Citra meets Nectaron. What could go wrong? Especially when the concoction was boiled by Other Half? I have big faith in this. Will it be worth my faith? At least the appearance is promising: impenetrable, deep warm yellow. Like mango nectar. The carbonation is rather on a shy side. Still, a generous creamy froth emerges on the surface, reaches two fingers and dwindles to a neat lacing. Sirens are singing seductively in the scent. Heaven or hell? Heaven, absolutely. Tropical fruit salad pulls my strings. Mango, nectarine, peach, tangerine. Biscuit, oat flakes, faint candy. Creamy. Lactose, maybe? Heaven's gates were open. Did I step in? Almost. What used to be tropical nectar is now fruity zest. Still tropical but obviously not as creamy anymore. A tad, yes. The components include mango, nectarine, tangerine, blood orange, pomelo, lemon this time. Oat flakes still in the maltbase. Medium to medium-full body. The tail swings within a narrow range with sweet citrusy flavors on the driving seat. Maintains the intriguing character. Leaves a medium-full, soft, smooth, juicy and somewhat tropical impression in the mouth. The mouthfeel is also creamy, pulpy and slightly drying. Canned three months ago. Still very delicious. Reasonably priced at Hoptimaal: 9.50€. I'm glad I bought this. NOTE: The barcode leads to HDHC Psycho Sue (10th Anniversary Freak Week). Again. Does OHB use the same code for all its beers ? 😅

Muddy, warm orange beer with regular carbonation unleashes a fluffy creamy head. Two fingers is the height. The foamy crown dissipates gradually to a relatively impressive lace ring and a fragile haze on the top while simultaneously leaving a set of clinging ornaments on the rim of the glass. The scent is truly fruity: mango, nectarine, sweet clementine and gentle pitaya. Crushed oat cracker definitely in the grainbill. And lactose, maybe? Mango, orange, tangerine and moderate grapefruit can be spotted in the taste profile. A bit of peach, too. Interestingly, the gustatory universe is marginally hoppier and less sweet tropical than the olfactory side. Even the oat cracker is less recognizable now albeit not entirely absent. On the other hand, the creaminess increases on the tongue. The body is medium to medium-full. The ABV is not that high, hence, this is a welcome observation. The finish is short-lived but seconds my argument of reduced tropicalness. A long tail. Feels medium, somewhat tropical, juicy, pulpy, rather soft and smooth. Remotely lip-glueing. Reasonably creamy. Shows again the quality of this brewery although this can't reach the crème de la crème of this brewery. NOTE: The barcode gives "HDHC Psycho Sue (10th Anniversary Freak Week)". OHB has used this very same barcode for a number of beers.

Erittäin miellyttävä. Hedelmäinen ja hiukan havuinen, makeahko, riittävän paksu runko, kiva pikku terävyys. Ei liian dänkki, ei niinkään ikeniin menevä vaan pikemminkin hallittu lopputulos.
