First flight accomplished. Now a connecting flight. Because I can. And the first four beers were relatively mild. Well, so are these, or even milder.
Flight 1/4 (2) displays clear amber. A cloud-white head is quite subdued. A bit jam-like scent: apricot, mandarin, sweet waffle. Intriguing. Or something. The taste profile is more "normal" but offers some interesting flavors, too: apricot, cantaloupe, mango, mandarin, faint resin. The body clocks light minus. The finish is fruity and not that different from the earlier experience. The mouthfeel is light minus, juicy, lip-glueing, faintly tea-like and, can't deny it, marginally jam-like, too.
Okay, I assessed this "decent" but now, having looked at the ABV, this is an underperformer.

Flight 2/5 is basically lucid copper with a moderate creamy head.
Smells interesting: cow stable, to put it diplomatically. A bit of dung. Like sh*t. The real thing. Wow! And a suggestion of bitter caramel.
Hah, fortunately no dung in the taste 😅 I wouldn't know the flavor anyway, and I'm not ready to try. Instead, I spot bitter caramel, peach flavored tea, a sigh of dried apricot and even faint raisin. Not too impressive though.
The body is light to light-medium. The end turns somewhat softer from the first encounter. The same components anyway. And a reasonable duration.
The mouthfeel is light-medium, earthy, a bit dry, drying and characterless. It's alright, it's there but no need to revisit.

Flight 4/4 (2). Now something weird. This is supposed to be a Blonde Ale. But... oh Lord, look at the color! Bizarre! Not inviting, eh? I don't even know how to call that color. Looks like my grandma's raisin kissel. Don't take me wrong, I loved it as a kid but the hue is close to what I have now in glass 4. Like a blend of sludge and purple grape juice. If that color has a name, I suggest that it should be banned by the Constitution.
Well, at least the olfactory sector doesn't make me puke. Very thin anyway. As if tea-like. Herbal tea maybe. Could be grass or nettle. Still not convinced that this is supposed to be like this but so far, so good.
The flavor composition is interesting. Not disgusting at all albeit not particularly seductive either. I like the fairly copious ripe purple gooseberry mash and caramel. A drop of grape juice can also be spotted in the palate.
The body is light plus, perhaps even light-medium. I'm amazed. Or not. The tail leaves a ripe or canned fruity impression of purple berries, especially gooseberry but also a hint of grape. Lengthy duration we have here.
The mouthfeel is light-medium, juicy, rich in berries, a tad drying but otherwise pretty fluid. Innovative in a way. Not a huge success but I'm glad someone has taken steps on the wild side. +0.3 stars extra for an adventurous approach!

Alright. Flight 2/4. This is a beer. Basically lucid, very dark brown with a distinct ruby tint. The head wears cappuccino and portrays moussy.
The fragrance disappoints a bit with weakness. Anyway, I can observe a coffeeish hint and truly remote dark chocolate.
The palate deviates drastically from the scent: oh yes, still slightly coffeeish with distant cacao nibs. But: there's a roasty touch to the malt side. Maybe also a bit of astringent crowberry. Quite light body we have here. The finish dries the gums with a coffeeish touch.
The mouthfeel is light, a tad dry, modestly roasty, drying and slightly tangy. Well, not a massive success but goes down, of course.

🇨🇭🇨🇭 Une blonde assez simple au bon goût de céréales. Maltée et rafraîchissante.
