A treat I brought back from Maryland. This is citrusy that is mainly lemon and tangerine. Also has a little pineapple. Has a light+ hoppy bitterness. Has just a tinge of grainy malt. Named after Patsy Kline who used to perform on stage where the brewery is located. Overall a nice simple NEIPA that is actually one of the better ones I’ve had lately. I only wish it had more carbonation - LOL.

Breaking open my choice of growlers from Maryland. This has a citrus taste with a lot of pine. Citrus leans towards orange and grapefruit. Quite hoppy with a light caramel malt to give a little counter balance. Overall a basic old school IPA. It’s not the greatest IPA but I took a chance getting a growler without a taste before hand. Just an instinct as they had good brews. When they brew a good black IPA it is usually a good sign to me. They have it listed as an English IPA. I find it more American as it’s more hoppy than malty. English versions usually seem more balanced to me.

A treat from Maryland. One of the wife’s choices. A very sweet caramel malt with some light corn is basically what this has. A decent malty lager. A little sweet to me but the wife likes it.

Back from Maryland and brought some treats home. This has a cherry & dark cherry taste with some light butterscotch. Has a bit of a peppery taste. Fairly sweet as expected.

Well I was bound to hit one I wasn’t crazy about. This has medium mango but that is about it. It’s weak in most other aspects. But it was listed as an mango APA so my fault in some ways. Oh well. If ever in Frederick Maryland there are some great breweries here. We only hit 2 tonight but there are a lot more around. A great town for craft brews.

Has a medium rye spice with some light citrus. Hoppy side starts off a bit weak but seems to get stronger as you get into it. Might be the previous black IPA still lingering throwing me off.

Moved to another brewery. Hits you with medium dark roasted malt. Has a citrus hops taste with some light pine. Bitterness is light +. A nice well rounded black IPA.
