For a beer that's only for this bar it does alright. Probably wouldn't complete with real APA but not bad for a chain pub effort.

Lovely. Fruit, bitter with a strong hit of tropical fruits.

Little bit hops and a little citrus. A very good beer when looking for drink ability. A lot like a double IPA it sits very well on the palette and will complement a variety of dishes.

This is an interesting IPA. Has many tropical citrus flavors.. It's definitely hoppy & bitter , but the fruity flavors are a little overwhelming. Not what I like in an IPA.. but still drinkable

Admiral Benbow Chapel St Leonard's Promenade Despite being called "red" in the evening dusky light it's more a rich golden brown. Adorned by a one finger fine light beige head that had excellent lacing and a lingering presence. Nose is a restrained fruity citrus and caramel malts with hints of bread Mouthfeel is a medium lush and creamy, smooth and slick with a soft carbonation. Initially a light short lived malt sweetness in the middle of the tongue that is quickly surrounded by on the sharper citrus bitterness on the sides and back of the tongue that intensifies before the long legged smooth pithy finish on the back of your tongue complimented by a salty sensation. This is a workout for the taste buds.
