Nose is fresh cut, garden fresh jalapenos with the hops jumping up and down trying to be seen. On the buds, the peppers make their presence known favorwise but only brought a fraction of their heat. Better than the original.

Believe this to be my third Barley Wine. This better be good- $6.00 for an 8 ounce pour. No head. Nose is plum/ raisin, brown sugar, and toffee. The taste matches the nose. Alcohol is barely noticeable in a gentle way. Very good but not as complex as the other two I've had.

Nothing over the top but much better than mass produced tub water.

Crisp- which is not usually a word I use with an IPA but it seems to fit. Upon hitting the tongue, you know you're drinking an IPA but there's no lingering anything.

Slight jalapeno and citrus blend on the nose. Initial taste on the buds is citrus but quickly overtaken by the jalapeno flavor. A nice warm jalapeno "heat" down the throat.

Interesting experience. Can smell the jalapeño on the nose. The sip is cold, then you taste heat straight down your throat. Not bad, but also not a beer that you have more than one of.
