Well maybe I’m a bit generous with my marking, maybe this just appeals to me but I’m really rather impressed with this. Rich and full flavoured, it feels even stronger than it’s 5.5% abv would suggest. Perhaps not a session beer but I’d happily have a couple more than the one can I was most kindly given. It has the kind of body you’d find in Guinness Foreign Extra and Theakstons Old Peculier et al.

Sometime I have a beer that's named something and don't think much of it until I try it and I'm like. Ah yes.... That makes sense. This is one of those. On the nose : More toffee than a trying but subtle banana notes coming through The taste: banana and toffee.... Who'd have thought? The mouthfeel is a bit watery really which is why it hasn't got a higher score.
