Initially I wasn’t that impressed. Quite metallic and roasty from the first sip. It’s certainly grown on me and the flavours have blossomed. Still an overwhelming roast element to the beer. Not a bad thing, it is an stout after all! There’s an underlying sweetness that comes through. Hints of caramel and of course peanuts. Aftertaste is that lovely peanut flavour you get in the back of your throat after lashings of crunchy peanut butter on a bagel. Nice beer, better than the last one. Should pair well with the next one I’ve got, more peanuts!

Lovely. Not dramatically different to the last but definitely more chocolate and caramel. Impressive to get so much flavour in a lower abv stout.

Tuoksussa... hhhm. Tulee itseasiassa YellowBelly mieleen. Suutuntuma keskihiilihappoinen, aika runsas, keskitäyteläinen, pehmeä ja kermainen. Tosi mukava runko tällaiseksi kevyemmäksi. Maussa pähkinää, suklaata, vaniljaa, paahdetta, kahvia ja hieman marjaisuutta. Oikein onnistunut ja ryhdikäs stout. Mukavan pehmeä.
