Ehkä surkein maistamani barleywine. Jälkimakeus surkea ja liika humalointi pilaa kokonaisuuden. Wineksi hyvin hengetön. Moniulotteisuus puuttuu, sillä oluen solahtaessa kurkusta jää käteen lähes tyhjä arpa, old school ipamaisuuden jälkikatkeroa lukuun ottamatta. En varmasti osta toiste.

Haalean appelsiinimehun värinen, tuoksussa jonkun verran hedelmää. Makua löytyy , ja runkoa. Mutta katkeroa neipaksi aika reilusti.

Opaque, bright black beer with oppressed carbonation builds a bronze head that stacks up to one finger. The short retention kills the head soon, just a gossamer lace ring remains there for a while. An oversweet scent. I was about to bet a dime for the fact that the beer contains loads of lactose but it actually doesn't. Sweet anyway. Vanilla, sugared ice latte, cream and oat biscuit are the key players in the air. The sweetness extends to the tongue although in a bit less icky form. Coffee grows bigger now. I can also spot vanilla, licorice, burned malt and a subdued alcoholic vibe. A triumph of adjuncts! The body is medium-full. Alright, satisfactory for 11 % but by no means a reason to cry out of happiness. The end eliminates the sweet elements fairly quickly and continues with burned coffee beans, dark malt and a suggestion of licorice. The system is too much, it breaks the aftertaste down, it makes me suck it; f*** I mistrust it; the system two makes me hurt you. The mouthfeel is medium-full, a tad sticky, heavily lip-glueing, burned, adjuncted and discreetly alcoholic. A nice dessert beer that would have deserved more depth and layers.

Barley winet vielä sen verran tuntemattomia etten sano kummempia. Maussa kuitenkin on (kuiva)hedelmäisyyttä, rusinaisuutta, ja ohraisuutta.

Mielenkiintoinen ja todella erilainen Sour. Mustaherukka tuoksuu ja maistuu. Punaviini maistuu varsinkin jälkimaussa. Tämä ja muutama maukas juusto voisi toimia erinomaisesti.

Mielenkiintoinen: selkeä häivähdys punaviiniä alkutuoksussa, myös maussa, kirpsakka, raikas, herukkainen&marjaisa(melkein tuli saison tai joku lampic mieleen), väri punertavanrusehtava kuin kuivunut veri. Tykkäsin kyllä. Sopisi juustotarjottimen pariksi.
