Slight toffee/caramel aroma flavour is disappointing though, on the label it promises subtle notes of vanilla, honey, caramel and lemon. If you try really really really hard you can just about pick up those subtlest of flavours.

Strong malt and biscuity nose and flavour with a touch of honey sweetness, ending with a mildly bitter finish. Decent enough.

Bit of a shot in the dark, it is a golden ale that tastes like a wheat beer.
