Bowman Ales Ltd
England
chevron_leftchevron_right
Bowman Ales is a micro brewery based near Droxford in Hampshire, producing award-winning real ales. You can enjoy our beers in pubs all over the South of England and beyond. Brewing since 2006, the brewery has gone from strength to strength. Our beers have evolved into three really popular regular brews and each month we have a 4.5% special on too. We now bottle six of our beers, and they are bottled for us by Angus at Mr Whiteheads Cider Co. We’ve won lots of awards, but I think the best testament to our beers is the number of people that not only drink it, but actively seek it out! To all of those that drink our beers, tell others and educate their families and sometimes their pets to the wonderful beers from Bowman, we say “THANK YOU!”

It's a decent enough drink, but nothing overly special. It has a nice hoppy aroma with a slight citrusy note. The taste profile is similar, but with a slightly more pronounced citrus fruit tang. It has a slightly bitter finish, but is enjoyable. Overall, it's a smooth and easy-drinking session ale, it's a very quaffable drink even at the abv level.

An unusual, but not unpleasant bitter. The honey is very much detectable, but not the main event of the taste. A very clever balance of traditional bitter and honey sweetness.
