more like a stout or porter than a brown ale. nice malty aroma. malty taste with a subtle almost liquorice note. slight sweet caramel taste with a burnt malt finish. slight bitter aftertaste but enjoyable. smooth and creamy easy drinking session ale

Quite a thin watery mouthfeel. Think this may be on the turn as it has a bit of a twang.
