Superhedelmäinen (mutta toki karvaampi kuin Bird of Prey), edelleen omaan makuun hipoo sitä täydellistä makutasapainoa 👌

This beer is translucent. And exceptionally pale. The color is somewhere between champagne and straw. Slightly milky actually. The carbonation is reasonable but pushes out a clean white, silky head that rises three fingers high. Soon the foamy stack melts to a neat lace ring and leaves irregular splashes here and there.
Lemon zest, lemon pith, a suggestion of coriander seed and distinct wheat malt emanate nicely to my nose. A distant floral note is first hidden but then steps or of the shadows. Hibiscus?
The taste is soft. And lemony. Yes, citrus dominates. Lemon zest, lemon pith, soft wheat cushion, a hint of coriander leaf but not seed as well as yeast.
Thin body. Ends relatively quickly with no changes whatsoever.
The mouthfeel is thin, relatively soft, smooth, zesty, pithy and slightly drying. Offers a marginal Belgiany impression, as well.

Pehmeä ja kevyen hapon tarjoava bock kyseessä. Miellyttävä

Advent Calendar Beer #️⃣2️⃣2️⃣. This is scary! Freeze-distilled Eisbock. The style is not a problem: Eisbock is one of my most beloved beerstyles. But. The ABV. It clocks 22 %. Twentyfu*****two percent! Oh Lord. If this doesn't kill me, it'll make me stronger. Remains to be seen...
The beer is dressed in a deep dark brown veil. A dark burgundy reflection tweaks the color toward red. Looks thick. Kissel-like. And murky but it's actually lucid. The carbonation is considerably impotent, almost like dead. A minuscule fawn lace ring just appears on the surface and moves rushedly to history.
The scent finds intensive date cake. Sweet and big. Fig, prune, raisin, vanilla, Bourbon. Starts promising. And more follows: syrup, burned sugar, a whisper of cacao nibs. An attractive, multifaceted pack! This can't go wrong. Or it can, for sure, the ABV still makes me feel uncomfortable despite the lovely series of nuances. I can only find out!
The time is now. To taste the nuke. My first sip... Mmmmokay... Thick, for sure. And seriously warming. Alcohol is not entirely hidden, how could it be? However, it doesn't offend me, nor does it make me feel uncomfortable. Quite nice actually! Date cake is powerful on the tongue, too. Prune, raisin, syrup, brown sugar. That's the second wave. Bourbon is all over the mouth, fills every nook and cave. It's surprisingly copious but simultaneously very balanced. I don't get any woody oak barrel notes here but I do spot a hint of cacao nibs and, finally, emerging licorice. A big surprise! A big po–si–tive surprise indeed!!
This is a full-bodied beer, for sure. It feels full. And it is full. The end intensifies the licorice component and brings in a sweeter side to it. It merges with bowls of Bourbon and dark chocolate ganache. Awesome!
The mouthfeel is full, thick, kissel-like, viscous, deep and rich. Relatively complex. Moderately alcoholic and warming. Appealingly warming, deep in my throat, big time. Glues lips, somewhat sticky. Big. Yes. Astonishingly palatable. The ABV could ruin this in a million and one ways but this is successful.

Advent Calendar Beer #️⃣1️⃣5️⃣. Another Bock. Why not? I 🤎 Bocks.
Alright. The color is limpid, old mahogany. The carbonation behaves obediently, except once when it tries to show off right at the opening. But then it calms down. A sandy velvety head shoots to the level of four fingers. The foamy tower collapses soon to an ample lace ring and leaves tiny patterns behind.
Syrup, dried plum, strong cookie malt, a suggestion of cacao nibs and alcohol twist in the air. Piney hops bring moderate crispness to the package.
Syrup is definitely number one on the tastebuds. Additionally, I can spot plum, blackcurrant, a whisper of black tea and marginal alcohol. Not a very traditional supply but not unpleasant either.
The body is medium-full. I can give positive credit for it. The finish is syrupy, very much like upfront. Bitterness is not entirely absent in the end either.
Feels medium-strong, somewhat mellow, lip-glueing and modestly alcoholic. Interesting, deviates from the style qualifications and isn't necessarily super intriguing, but sufficiently memorable anyway.

Très citronnée, presque trop acide à boire.

Hopeisessa tölkissä kaksi pukkia kannattelee oranssia laivaa. Tummanruskea juoma beigellä vaahdolla.
Hieman makea, karamellinen. Raikas ripaus humalaa lopussa.
3,94€.
