Nez assez épicé, bouche typique pour une blanche en mode belge. Assez maltée, peu de houblon.

La Jonquille! Top place in Geneva. Here again. Of course, what else? And a flight. Of course! Flight 1/4 is clear, deep copper to brown. The head is moussy, creamy and thick. The scent is a bit tea-like rather than caramelly which I anticipated. The taste somehow follows the same route with peach tea, a bit of caramel malt, dried apricot and an unrecognizable herbal note. I'm trying hard but it remains a mystery to me. The body is light-medium. The finish is similar to upfront, caramel and tea grow marginally toward the end. The mouthfeel is light-medium, tea-like, zesty, distantly herbal, a tad dry and slightly drying. Overall, a decent Ambrée.
