Strong, deep coloured artisanal beer from Geneva, Switzerland. Top-fermented, filtered, amber craft beer.
Ingredients: Water, barley malts (France), hops (France/Germany), yeast (Geneva). Brewed and bottled by La Brasserie des Murailles Sàrl 1252 Meinier / Geneva / CH www.bmurailles.ch e33cl Bottle at 6%vol
Has a very distinct fruity flavour with hints of caramel and toffee, nice depth of colour and flavour. More typical of a Northern French Garden beer. Cheers 🍻

Top place in Geneva. Here again. Of course, what else? And a flight. Of course!
Flight 1/4 is clear, deep copper to brown. The head is moussy, creamy and thick.
The scent is a bit tea-like rather than caramelly which I anticipated. The taste somehow follows the same route with peach tea, a bit of caramel malt, dried apricot and an unrecognizable herbal note. I'm trying hard but it remains a mystery to me.
The body is light-medium. The finish is similar to upfront, caramel and tea grow marginally toward the end. The mouthfeel is light-medium, tea-like, zesty, distantly herbal, a tad dry and slightly drying. Overall, a decent Ambrée.
