Unfined cloudy amber ale, nice head, fruity aroma. First taste, passion fruit, pineapple, tropical, creamy texture, slight bitter finish. Unusual, but very nice.

This is called "old school" but it bears no resembles to the "beers" I drank in the mid 1960s. A little hazy copper coloured with three fingers, light beige, foamy head that was quite turgid and took a good ten minutes to disappear and left a dainty bit of lacing. Nose is a rich but moderate strength aromas of bread, caramel and hints of berries Well carbonated and smooth over the tongue Initially it's a bit dank with earthy herbs and grass but wait a few moments and sliding in is a subtle complementing caramel and then a tiny hint of berries. When these late arrivals subside the sides and back of the tongue still have the lingering bitter feel that's quite satisfying. Not your standard bitter but a quality beer with depth of flavours, character and strength. Nice one 👍

Quite gassy, sweet, quite acidic, quite dry. Good, but I couldn't drink, say, ten of them...
