Nachtrag: Schon beim einschenken kommt die volle Gewürzladung zur Geltung, das Bier ergießt sich schwarzbraun mit vielen Schwebstoffen ins Glas. Die Nase ist ziemlich würzig, aber nicht ganz so heftig wie beim einschenken befürchtet, kenne mich mit Chai aber auch nicht aus. Beim Trinken dann herb und ätherisch mit der Chai Gewürzmischung, fast schon etwas scharf. Dazu kräftig röstmalzig mit deutlicher Säure, ziemlich heftige Kombi. Ich hatte mal ein Chai Latte Stout von Pohjala, da war noch Laktose drin was das ganze viel harmonischer gemacht hat, diese Version überzeugt mich nicht.

Advent Calendar #️⃣3️⃣ serves a murky, dark brown beer. The carbonation is somewhat introverted. A light beige head remains at mere half a finger and shrinks fast to a gossamer haze on the surface. Dark chocolate, cacao powder, cookie and brown malt constitute the olfactory package. The gustatory equivalent provides a distinct load of dark chocolate, cacao nibs, cookie and toasted malt. Nice and desserty. The body is light-medium to medium. The end tweaks slightly more bitter but, generally speaking, the appealing chocolatey slam still prevails. The mouthfeel is medium, soft, smooth, a tad deep, desserty and marginally dry. A bit gimmicky but enjoyable.
