It's Christmas Eve 🎄 and my son-in-law 😉 and I are going to celebrate with a tried and true Texas treasure 🏆. Fourth time to rate this, I know what this is going to be. Wonderfully sweet molasses, dark malt, and alcohol aroma, notes of chocolate in the background. Small head but the effervescence continues throughout the entire experience. First sip is pure heaven. Soft, creamy, velvety mouthfeel. An enticing dark chocolate, lightly charred sweet molasses and a very smooth punch of grain alcohol. All together these flavors were totally balanced and complimentary of each other. Strong flavor but not overpowering. Just makes you want to take a sip and sit back, relax and go "ahhhhhhhh".

Having as a Duo beer with my son-in-law in Houston Texas. I've had this twice before, 4.9 the first time and 5.0 the second. This is his first try at this brew. Wonder if my taste has changed. Still comes across as a very boozy, strong bittersweet chocolate. Not complex, same flavor from start through finish. For me this is absolute perfection. Still a 5.0 in my book.

I seldom review a beer more than once. But my previous rating of 4.9 I feel was too low. Raising it to a 5.0. This is an impressive Imperial Stout that anyone who gets a chance should try.

Great Christmas present from my daughter. Pours a black, opaque solid color. Short head, deep tan. Aroma is of roasted chocolate with an alcohol background. Flavor is a strong, very sweet deep chocolate. Alcohol of 10 percent engulfs your sinuses. No bitterness present. Mouthfeel has some body but not quite creamy. Finish reveals the burnt coffee and a back end bitterness that is perfect. I will recommend this a great, stand alone brew.

On tap at Craft 96. Very dark red color, not opaque. It's very sweet, not getting so much of the fruit they claim is there. I am getting more of the malt and very strong at that. Enjoyed it.

Impérial stout sans nul doute, plutôt costaude mais agréable en bouche. Parfaite pour une dégustation.
