Very tasty coffee ale. Nice coffee aroma and taste. Not overpowering coffee flavor but nicely done beer. So good i had two.

I had a beer from Elk Brewing that was a blonde ale with coffee, I believe. It was surprisingly good. That made this beer stand out to me, so I'm gonna give it a try. Has a nice coffee aroma. Being that this is an amber ale, the coffee is really all I'm getting, as it overpowers the other aromas that I'm sure are there. In the taste, I'm getting a sweetness, which I think is from caramel, immediately followed by the coffee. Breadiness is present as well. This is a unique combination and just like the beer from Elk, it works well. I could see myself buying this from time to time as I come across it. 3.75/5
