An unremarkable pour from the remarkable can have a body wit a deep amber colour, which has a lot do bubbles up the glass but very little foam on top. Scent is a wall of lucious pine, caramel & biscuit malt, grapefruit and orange peel. Mouthfeel is incredibley light, for a 9.2% imperial. Very foamy upfront, with lots of warmth in the rear and leaves a mild slick coating. Taste is very intense, a wall of sweet malt and pine. Tonnes of caramel and biscuit cutting through the intense pine with trace amounts of bitter grapefruit in the background. Very intense beer, will definitely scratch your itch if you need a resinous dipa.

VAAHTO: Sormen mittainen, aemi tuuhea, kestävä. Nätti. GREY’S VIEW 7 Humalalla koottu Imperial IPA. Ensisiemaus. Klassinen IIPA se on. Maussa alkuun mehevää kypsähedelmäisyyttä, sitten katkero saapuu ja humalat. Mäntypuun kaarnaa, moninaisesti havuja (PRKL!), hieman vain greippiä ja ihan huntuisesti vain karamellia. Tuhtia skaalaa, kelpaa kyllä. Runko on tahmaavan laahaava, mutta kuitenkin ihan juotavaan muotoon jätettyä kiisseliä. Karbonaatio on erittäin pientä ja hieman kyllä sivuroolissa. Mukava katkerotaso, oikein nautinnollinen. MUUTA MAINITTAVAA: Ihastuttavan old-schoolmainen tuo katkero ja skaala tässä. Niin pitkästä aikaa sitä ehtaa kunnon IIPAa. Mainio, mainio teos.
