This stout is sheer beer poetry. Let it warm to about 45 F and pour it into a glass to fully experience its rich, roasty flavors and hints of coffee and chocolate. One glass and you’ll agree: The Poet is truly a rich, creamy brew of epic proportions. Oatmeal Stout.

Final day on vacation in Gulf Shores Alabama with family. Trying the last of our unique beers.
Short very tan head, doesn't last. Aroma is of roasted coffee. Dark brown color that is totally opaque. Feels both dry and sharp. Dark cocoa with a bittersweet flavor in the forefront. Finish brings back the roasted coffee flavor with a lingering mild bitter quality.
Pretty good but I was actually hoping for a lot more.

Looks like I’ve had twice before but bounced back and forth. So I guess this s/b my complete review. Has some burnt coffee with roasted malts. Not heavy but not light - I guess I’d have to say medium. I’m kind of finding a mix between my previous reviews.

Very smooth, really good flavor. Lower ABV for a stout.
