Bourbon and chocolate notes stand out the most in the aroma. Taste has delicious bourbon hitting first, followed by dark chocolate notes, roasted malts and oak.
Full body with low carbonation.
Some people say this beer is on par with Bourbon County Brand Stout, if not better. I'm not sure I'd go that far. Given the choice, I'm reaching for the Bourbon County, but this is definitely an excellent and worthy substitute. 4.75/5

Bourbon, chocolate notes, dark fruits (raisins, plums) and oak in the aroma. Taste has bourbon and the dark fruits first, followed by oak and chocolate notes. Nice complexity (with no adjuncts added) while still being very well balanced.
The body is full with a low amount of carbonation.
Just a lovely beer that never disappoints. Solid 4.75/5
