Gaina was the first IPA brewed by Birrificio Lambate. It is characterised by the large amount of hops used, especially through dry-hopping. The hops give the beer the fresh, lively citrous fruit flavours typical of this style of beer.
In Lombardy slang, Gaina means Hen, the animal brought to mind by the uncertain, staggering gait of certain drunk people.

Tuoksu on hedelmäinen jossa on myös hieman kermaisuutta sekä hapanta sitrusta mukana.
Ensipuraisu tuo tulessaan matalahappoisen hedelmäisen maun jossa mukana vähän hapanta sitrusta.
Suullisen edetessä kermaisuus rupeaa tulemaan esiin nousu johteisesti.
Mangoo, passionhedelmäää ja kermaisuutta on pääasiassa jälkimaussa. Mukavan lievän makean hedelmäinen maku sekä mauste ruohoisuus tulee siinä sivussa.

Olut on väriltään kullankeltainen ja vaahtoa kertyi vajaan parin sormellisen verran.
Tuoksu rapsakan sitrushedelmien.
Maku on kypsän hedelmäinen, mukavan katkeroinen olut, jälkimaussa passionhedelmää.
