Now in Piran 🇸🇮 A super cozy town by the northern pocket of the Adriatic Sea. I bought this and a couple of other beers on our way from Bohinj/Bled to here. Looks semihazy amber. A soft off-white head climbs one finger high and dissipates to a slightly billowy lace ring. A fairly standard hop-forward IPA scent: grapefruit pith, orange peel and resin. Maybe a bit of malt, too. Grapefruit is obvious in the taste: grapefruit pith and peel, accompanied by lemon peel, resin, grass and a malty touch. Truly distant hop burn in the back of the mouth. The mouthfeel is light-medium to medium, crisp, zesty, pithy, dry and drying. Style compatible. Delivers beautifully!

Ein weiteres Mitbringsel aus dem Urlaub ist das IPA der Crazy Duck Brewery aus Ziri in Slowenien. Sehr fruchtig, es schwingen sogar einige Erdbeeren mit. Im Mittelteil ist mir die Bittere fast ein wenig zu viel des Guten. Aber zum Schluss bekommt der Trank nochmal so richtig Drive in Form von milder, fruchtiger Süße und es schließt süffig und spritzig ab. Lecker.
