I Love You Honey Bunny
6.3% India Pale Ale
Following on from Ten Dollar Shake and Comfortable Silence; I Love You Honey Bunny is a smoothie with a plot twist. We had some assistance from Brooklyn’s Other Half this time out, and instead of fruit additions, included some 200kg of pure blossom honey! We’ve also stepped up to 50% oats in the grist, making the body even thicker and smoother than its predecessors.

Loving this. It's got a really novel taste to it. It's sweet but with a faint bitterness at the same time. It pours with a fizzy, quickly dispersing head, leaving a light, slightly cloudy liquid. I'm a big fan of Siren Craft Brew ales, and this one doesn't disappoint. It's light on the mouth, distinctive and smooth tasting, and definitely one I would go back to.

Samea hieman hunajainen ulkonäkö. Tuoksussa mukavan lempeää sitrusta. Aika ohut runko ja hieman pistelevä ja kuiva suutuntuma. Maussa greippiä, sekä vain hieman hunajaa. Karvas jälkimaku.

Kind of sets you up for the honey and it doesn't quite make an appearance. Announces itself with a fairly hoppy intro and goes down very smoothly. Easy to drink but not what I expected.

Slightly disappointed with this, when I clapped eyes on a Honey milkshake IPA by Siren I thought it would be exceptionally good based on Comfortable Silence et al. It is a perfectly good and drinkable IPA but it’s nowhere near as luxurious as some of their others, it’s pretty thin and the honey is very faint indeed. *sigh*
