Not quite what I was looking for. This is smooth but has a sharp edge.
Smells good though.

I like this a lot more than I thought I would. Usually the lighter the better for me, but this is pretty good. Seems thick, good smell, not very fizzy. If I hadn’t seen it, I wouldn’t know it was this dark.
Slippery finish on the can though. Be careful you don’t drop it.

Really enjoyed this. Slightly smokey, smooth and bitter.

Probably the best Black IPA I’ve ever had, which is annoying as I don’t think my review is going to do it justice.
Fruity aromas, particularly orange mingle with typical dark mild aromas. There’s citrus, and watery coffee flavours and a bitter finish that seems to be derived from both the hops and the the malts.
It’s most satisfying characteristics are it’s aroma and bitter finish.

Pours jet black with a thick pale coffee coloured head. Strong hops on the nose and sharp taste, with some lovely toasted malt notes to finish. Great fusion of a pale/ ale stout of sorts. Well nice!
