Edgeworth nailed the review. Not my favorite style but trying new things.

One of my all-time favorite breweries. Medium-high head that has a definite orange tint. Typical Marzen aroma. Texture is light and somewhat creamy. Flavor is too weak in the forefront, wish it was a little stronger. No bitterness until the finish, where it is a bit too tangy for me. Just a middle of the road Oktoberfest for me. I am very disappointed in that.

Has some light caramel, bready with a touch of nuttiness to it. It’s just weak or I’d rate higher. I think I need to hit up the true German Oktoberfest beers to be happy since they are usually better

Slightly bready aroma with perhaps a touch of caramel. Taste has the same breadiness. The sweetness is probably from the malts used, perhaps caramel malts. There's a slightly bitter earthiness as well. Not my favorite of the style, but still good. Medium-light body with carbonation on the higher end of medium. I think I'll go with my rating from last year. 3.5/5
