Compared to the standard Shiner Bock, this beer has an odd upfront taste that attacks my mouth in a very unpleasant way. The bottle says pecans and peaches and whatever else but I get mainly pecans and very little peach.

Christmas Advent beer #14. I have definitely had before. Has a lot of peach to it. Not much else. Still don’t get any pecan as in previous reviews. If you love a peach beer this is for you. I think if had some pecan to it I would enjoy more. Celebrating an Eagles win. Go birds 🦅🏈🦅

To conclude my dessert beer night - I thought this was the same as the candied pecan porter but it’s not. I do think it is very similar. The flavor is just like listed on the bottle with the dominance following the same listing. Roasted pecan, vanilla, caramel and brown sugar. Surprise, it’s sweet. Is it quite pie like, not quite. It does taste good though. The taste is a little sticky in the mouth too. Interesting and worthy of a try. No date on the bottle.
