A dark chestnut coloured ale full of roast malt flavours complemented with superb dry hop aromas. Pours a dark ruby colour with an inviting smell of roasted barley. The taste has flavours of soft dark fruit with a rich finish. Considering this is only 2.8% this is packed full of flavour. A top session beer!

Disappointingly weak. Fairly tasteless. Was hoping for more as this is one of my old favourite styles but this is a washout. Same marks as the abv.

Not a fan of mild, but this is surprisingly good. Plenty of malt, leaving a nice frothy, almost nutty, taste in the mouth. The low abv (2.8%) isn’t really noticeable. Would definitely drink again.
