Barrel Aged Advent Calendar Day #22 Sweetness and bourbon in the aroma. Taste has sweetness from the corn which is balanced by the bourbon and oak from the barrel aging. Medium-full body with a lower amount of carbonation. I'm really glad this came up in the calendar. I'm not into malt liquor, but I really wanted to try this again. 3.75/5

Still good. Hazy amber “Imperial Malt Liquor aged in Bourbon Barrels ”. Boozy sweet malts and vanilla scent. Whiskey too. These are also dominating the palate. Warming seems to be an understatement 😬. Hard hitting and quality Malt Liquor. Reminds me of Jack Daniels. Keeps what is promised on the label 😬 “Kicks you where...”

Tasty beer. I'm not too well versed with malt liquors, but this is very good. Bourbon and oak also come through, due to the barrel aging. I have one left that I'll try in a year or so. 3.75/5

Runsas vaahtoinen, nopeasti tasaantuva. Kirkas, kullankeltainen, aavistuksen punertava. Vaahdon aikana tuoksussa selkeä bourbon wiskin tuoksu. Vaahdon tasaannuttua tuoksukin laimeni lähes samassa suhteessa. Maussa wiski tulee selkeästi esille. Jälkimaku lähes samanlainen, kuin esim. Jack Daniels ilman alkoholin poltetta. Muiden arviota silmäillessäni kiinnitin huomoita väriin ja siirappisuuteen. Useissa kolleegojen kuvissa väri oli selkeästi samea, omassa kuvassani väri on vääristynyt liian punertavaksi. Siirappisuutta tästä ei löytynyt, pikemminkin hentoa makeutta. Loppulauselmana totean wiskin nousevan liikaa esiin, peittäen varsinaisen oluen maun. Olen myöskin wiskin ystävä, mutta juon ne eri laseista, en sukellusveneenä.

Bourbonvaniljasiirappimämmiä. Liian makea ja tuhti pläjäys yksin kumottavaksi.
