In collaboration with Bone Machine Brewery, this is a red rye kettle sour infused with the characteristic Finnic flavours of lingonberry and juniper for a fruity aromatic hit, and dry hopped with Pekko (named for the Finnic god of field and crops) giving a subtle fresh citrus and herbal finish.

Earthy, red wine, berry sour. Very nice, but could increase flavour, depth and ABV for me.

I’m still convinced something has changed with this. Previously a 4.5 The last couple of times I’ve had it it hasn’t matched up. Maybe it’s because it was on tap the first time. Anyway it doesn’t seem as fruity. Still there is some dark fruits in there and the level of sourness is just right for me, so not all bad!

Brew York collaboration with Bone Machine Brewery (who I've not heard of before). This is described as a red rye kettle sour infused with the characteristic Finnic flavours of lingonberry and juniper for a fruity aromatic hit, and dry hopped with Pekko (named after the Finnic god of field and crops apparently) giving a subtle fresh citrus and herbal finish. It's a very, very good sour, and if you like the style, I'd venture that you'll love this beer!
