I went to the launch of this magical mix at The Sally last night. As it's Friday I bagged a bottle to drink at home. It's a collaboration between one of the South West's best brewers (Mills) and Tom Oliver - one of the worlds greatest cider makers. In their words it's a 'turbid mash fermented with foxwhelp juice by cider lees in old oak barrels in for eight months. Then bottle conditioned and aged for another eight months'. Think Lambic, think farmhouse, think cider. The only beer/cider combination I know. And it's great. You'd be hard pressed to get more craft in a handmade grandfather clock with a Van Gogh face.
