Copper-toned Ipanema is an India Pale Ale with 6% ABV and a muscular bitterness. Its hops give off a heady aroma but it’s the full-bodied maltiness that makes this a balanced, pleasantly rounded beer. Its fruity aromas come from North American hops and its bitterness is a perfect match for spicy dishes.

Burger flusher. Appears semihazy amber. Short-lived carbonation releases a bright white, cotton head that covers the top up to the level of one finger. The retention seems to still be patient.
Fairly standard olfactory supply: grapefruit zest, lemon peel, pine resin and distant biscuit.
The tastebuds find those same elements: the piney segment is slightly thicker, grapefruit and lemon escort in all forms. Biscuit is not really in the palate although one can recognize the malty base on the sides.
The body is medium. I expected less, so applauds to that! The finish is piney and citrusy, no major evolution since the onset.
The mouthfeel is medium, a tad crisp, moderately piney and resinous. It's also dry and drying and, hence, quite classical. Old-schoolish.
