It's been a hard day's night
And I've been working like a dog
It's been a hard day's night
I should be having my rightful beer 🎵🎶
...or something...
My well deserved beer should offer a load of NZ hops. Hell yeah! Shouldn't disappoint anyone. Let's see.
Looks hazy, balmy warm yellow. Pretty much like orange juice that is actually not orange but warm yellow. Like my beer. Standard carbonation. A velvety off-white head surpasses one finger and dissolves soon to a reasonable lace ring and haze.
A powerful peach nuance hovers in the air. Bags of sweet citruses accompany, especially sweet clementine, zestier tangerine and more orange-like but sweeter blood orange. Green gooseberry and green grape, as well? Maybe in tiny proportions.
Peach is obvious also on the tongue. Very nice, not super mushy but slightly firm and raw. Tangerine, orange, pink grapefruit and lemon constitute the citrus space this time. Zesty but not as sweet as it was in the scent. Green grape is in the minority. Even a resinous note raises its head at this stage. The maltbase is oppressed, slightly biscuity but more like barley rather than oat.
The body is light-medium. The end gives various citruses, not sweet ones though, a bit of resin and grass. Still zesty.
The mouthfeel is, indeed, zesty and light-medium. It's also pulpy, juicy, faintly tropical but much more like Mediterranean, modestly crisp and marginally drying. I was hoping for a milkshakey punch but it didn't really happen. Still tasty, though not a Mona Lisa of the brewniverse.

Wouah ! C'est très puissant en bouche avec, encore une fois, des houblons fortement présents et bien travaillés !
