Having a good Founder's KBS beer. Didn't realize it's a golden ale, an imperial one at that. High orange head. Can't find aroma since I'm in a cigar bar. They have the most unusual beer in town so I'll overlook the smells. Soft texture, sweet from the lactose milk, and a smooth, gentle combination of breakfast coffee, vanilla and the bourbon starts low and increases in the finish. But just a little. The alcohol it dangerously hidden. No second beer, this 11% is a one and done. Totally surprised. Close your eyes and you would not think this is a golden ale.
