Dubbel. Non-alcoholic dubbel. Ehh... like what? Murky, dark brown. Muddy. Reticent carbonation. A beige small-bubbled head, one finger approximately. Brief retention, then dead. Brown malt, molasses and cookie in the scent. A faint roasty aroma completes the olfactory journey that remains a bit limited anyway. The taste... well... odd. Ish. Bags of berries. But what berries? Coffee beans, at least. Are they berries? I guess so. And raw blackberry. Maybe also crowberry. Burned malt. Dry grass. All in all, a tad sour. Not bad tastewise but far from a standard dubbel gustatory spectre. Light body. Ends with a similar concoction as before. Lingers in the mouth for a good while. Feels light, roasty, slightly tart, moderately drying. Confusing. Can't imagine a dubbel with this beer's flavor profile. Hence, a reduced rating.
