Here at Gulf Shores enjoying the New Year Holiday with my family. What chaos and pandamonium. Hate it, love it, mass confession. Isn't family great. Aroma so weak that I can't really describe it. Light yellow clear color. Flavor is nothing that you would expect. Has a corn lagèr taste, weak hints of banana and only a small amount of alcohol. Missing? Almost everything. No oak barrel, no bourbon, no Belgian characteristics. It's sweet, seems heavy. Like corn syrup was added. Finish has an unexpected lemon taste that doesn't belong here. It's a premium 22 oz bottle so I'm really trying to find a redeeming quality but can't. Ryan doesn't want to finish his. My son, an Elijah Craig lover, the reason I bought this, took one sip and done. There is just nothing here. Elijah Craig should be embarrassed to have their name exposed here. It's not undrinkable. Its not bad. But when you creat, on purpose, high expectations and don't follow through, that's extremely disappointing. This is a below average beer at an extremely premium price. That's just wrong.
