Advent Calendar #️⃣2️⃣1️⃣ reveals a muddy, jet black beer. Shiny bright. Impotent carbonation. A really oppressed lace ring emerges on the surface. Looks beige, I guess... Bourbon is copious in the olfactory universe. The individual nuances include cane sugar, date, purple grape, vanilla, coconut and a whisper of syrup. A slight alcoholic twist hovers above the cocktail. The taste profile is truly sweet. Even awkwardly sweet. Powerful Bourbon conquers every nook of the mouth. Vanilla, bags of cane sugar, raisin, purple grape, date, coconut and syrup. Almost identical to what I find in the scent. The body is medium-full. Or even less... This clocks 12.7 % anyway. Clearly misses the peer standard. The tail is oversweet, just like the actual taste. The beer gives a medium-full, sappy, lip-glueing, barrel aged and a bit alcoholic impression. A tad intense and semideep. Beautifully warming. Unfortunately, far too sweet to the intensity.
