Decided to have a nightcap. Been drinking mainly lagers this evening/night. I bought this at Wegman’s about a month ago. Realized the canned date is 10/7/24. Decided to finally drink it and see what I got. It is a cold weather lager so why not drink it in July. It did foam up a bit after pouring. Not a good sign. So now how does it taste? It has a nice sweet cracker with a slightly biscuity and bready malt. Has some very light, at best, grassy and earthy hops. Obviously leans towards the malty side. Surprisingly better than I expected given the age. I’d love to try a fresher one.
