Not sure what's Italian about this pilsner but it certainly looks nice. Poured straw yellow, semi transparent with a quarter finger of foamy white head, which while not much, was robust enough to last the whole hog. Scents of cereal, some wheat and barley, nothing particularly, with a mild citrus note at the end. The beer is light bodied, not what I would associate with a pilsner. Though it does come with a nice crisp bite, lots of carbonation throughout and a mild foaminess toward the end. Taste is much like the scent, though after the cereals and citrus there is a mild bubblegum funk that I would normally find in a weiss. An acceptable lager but noting to write home about.
