Tuhti, erittäin mausteinen belgiquad. Omaan makuun ei ihan parhaimmistoa, koska karvasta mausteisuutta on hiukan liikaakin. Väriltään tummanruskea ja punertavaan vivahtava, valoa vasten läpi näkee selväsi. Vaahtoaa reippaasti mutta vaahto myös katoaa pian. Tuoksu on kirpeä, tanniininen ja mausteinen. Alkoholin erottaa tuoksussa rommimaisena vivahteena. Maku on samaa linjaa, kuivahko, mausteinen ja lämmittävä. Maltaisuus tulee esiin vähän viinimäisenä, kirpeänä makuna. Alkoholin lämpö on koko ajan läsnä. Jälkimaussa tulee myös katkeroa esiin, mutta perusmaku jatkuu vielä tässäkin.
