Pour from the can is a little listless, not much in the way of bubbles or carbonation and no foam at all either in the pour or after. Body is ruby red with a murky haze and as said, no foam or head. Scents intense lemon, tart raspbery with some red currant and a hint of sweet strawberry in the rear. The feeling in the mouth is sharp, a firm bite toying with moderate carbonation. A very light body is identified through it starts to feel a little thin as the sour punch wittles out. Taste is fruity, a hit of raspberry has the sweetness and tartness duking it out as the citrus kick rolls around and actually softens the tart raspberry. A very dissapointing sour.

Limpid, deep ruby beer with playful carbonation throws out a fluffy pinkish-white head that climbs to two fingers. The foamy attic dwindles quickly to a sustained lace ring and a modest creamy haze on the surface. Lemon, cranberry and raspberry find their way to my nose first. I'm trying to identify anything floral since the label says a hibiscus & lemon sour. Nevertheless, I can't spot anything floral but the red berries must, then, be characteristic of the hibiscus fragrance. The taste gives surprisingly hefty cranberry and raspberry as well as lemon zest that only comes after the red berries. Wheat malt is obvious in the maltbill, followed by a smaller injection of lactic acid. • • • [I was somewhat confused because of the red berries here. The name is "Pink Lemonade Sour", nothing about raspberry or cranberry. Then the label markets this as a "hibiscus lemon crush", again nothing about the red berries. I finally read the small printed list of ingredients that says "... hibiscus, raspberry puree, lemon concentrate, lemon zest..." There we go! The beer indeed contains raspberry (but not cranberry). Anyway, I wasn't that wrong in the first place.] • • • Back to business. The body is light. The finish is otherwise identical to upfront but the acidity grows marginally in the end. Furthermore, I start now picking something that resembles salt in some way, like rock salt maybe. I wanna drink pink lemonade, watching movie trailers 'till it's late; and let's remember all the words that we think are gonna make the aftertaste break. The mouthfeel is light, zesty, zippy, a bit tart, acidic and quite modestly puckering only. Even slightly characterless. Basically alright, but leaves a bit tepid impression.
