This monastery beer owes his smooth, but very rich flavour to the use of historic yeast strains. If you drink Augustijn when it is young, you get to enjoy its fruity, hoppy flavour. If you let the monastery beer mature, you are transported back into its story of flavour.

A bit on the sharp side of the spectrum for me. A full-bodied 9% that hits and lasts on the tongue. Ok, but not spectacular, and not one you could drink a lot of in an evening.

Espuma poco intensa , color amarillo muy turbio. Sabor dulce , intenso por el alcohol, amargor bajo
