We love hops – that’s why our flagship Double IPA, Heady Topper, is packed full of them. Heady Topper was designed to showcase the complex flavors and aromas these flowers produce. The Alchemist has been brewing Heady Topper since 2003. This Double IPA is not intended to be the strongest or most bitter DIPA. It is brewed to give you wave after wave of hop flavor without any astringent bitterness.
We brew Heady Topper with a proprietary blend of six hops – each imparting its own unique flavor and aroma. Take a big sip of Heady and see what hop flavors you can pick out. Orange? Tropical Fruit? Pink Grapefruit? Pine? Spice? There is just enough malt to give this beer some backbone, but not enough to take the hops away from the center stage.

C'est donc elle la première Neipa, recette inchangé de 20 ans du petit état du Vermont. C'est étonnamment hyper amère, agrumes et ultra résineux, grosse amertume efficace. On est loin du style actuelle où l'on efface le plus possible l'amertume.

Canned on 10/13, bought locally on 10/24/23 and amazing as always, drinks smooth like a single but beware as the quality lingers at 8 % APV.

Found this in a single while beer shopping recently. Grabbed as it was one of two left. Always a hard beer to find. I did not give it justice in my first review.
This has the normal grapefruit, piney resin so I’ll skip them. Now to add to the fruity aspects - has some mango, apricot, passion fruit with light peach. Hoppy that is medium+. Has a medium dankness+ to it. Light crackery malt. Canned on 7/10/23 so nice and fresh. There is nothing to list as bad with this beer.
I’m just sad as I finish this review as I’m also finishing this beer. 😢. I should have bought the last 2. Hind sight ☹️☹️☹️
This is literally the best beer ever. Why I listed a 4.9 I do not know why. It is a 5.
My father- in-law works in a beer section at a super market. When they get this in it sells out in an hour or 2. Once word gets out he says they get indidated with people looking for it.
I will always post this beer when I find it. Hopefully I gave it more justice this time.

Kolmas maisto. Ekan kerran 2018, heti perään vuonna 2021 ja nyt siis olut vuonna 2023 viisiviikkoisena lasissa.
Edelleen todella tuhti ja maukas hopsi. Olut joka oli aikaansa edellä vuonna 2004.

I’ve wanted to try this beer for so long! I finally got hold of it.
Aroma: Dank. Piney, grapefruity, zesty. Some tartness. Cat pee? 🤔
Taste: Pink grapefruit, pine, resin, tangerine, orange zest. Small hints of pineapple and mango. Dankness. So drinkable but still with a bitter bite.
I can understand the hype around this beer and what it started. They started brewing this one 2003! So glad I got to try it!

One of the best DIPA I have ever had. Super rare find even on the east coast. Highly recommend. I would give it a 5/5 but nothing is perfect
