This one's a bit of a bigger beer. One of Greece's top craft breweries has made an imperial stout together with perhaps England's most hyped imperial stout brewery. The aroma is quite strongly dominated by coffee. The mouthfeel is thick, for sure. It’s also slightly sweet, well-balanced, soft, structured, sticky, and surprisingly easy to drink. The taste features roasted notes, sweetness, caramel, coffee, chocolate, coconut, toffee, and creaminess. In the aftertaste, there’s even a hint of whiskey-like warmth, despite the fact that this hasn’t been barrel-aged. I like this! There are certainly sweet elements, but the sweetness doesn’t go overboard. The rich roastiness of the coffee balances it out. ______________ No nyt on vähän tällainen isompi olut. Kreikan craftin kärkinimi on tehnyt impin yhdessä Englannin ehkä hypetetyimmän imppi - panimon kanssa. Tuoksussa tulee esiin aika voimakkaana kahvi. Kyllä on muuten paksu suutuntuma tässä. Suutuntuma on myös makeahko, tasapainoinen, ryhdikäs, pehmeä, tahmainen ja aika helposti juotavaa. Maussa on paahteisuutta, makeutta, karamelliä, kahvia, suklaata, kookosta, toffeeta ja kermaisuutta. Jälkimaussa tulee jopa vähän viskimäinen lämpö, vaikka ei tätä missään tynnyreissä ole uitettu. Tykkään tästä! On toki makeutta tuovia elementtejä, mutta ei tässä makeus yli mene. Runsas kahvin paahteisuus tasapainottaa makeutta.

Pehmeä ja kunnon mehevän kahvinen, johon ympätty kookosta ja ripaus toffeeta. Tämä on hyvää tavaraa.
