Ending my non-IPA night with a sipper. This has a strong ginger taste with some slightly lighter cinnamon that lingers in the mouth. Has some other holiday spices in which I pick up nutmeg but there are some others not very pronounced. As it warms I barely pick up some bourbon that just fades in and out. It’s just disappointing. This is just overwhelmed by the ginger and cinnamon+. If it had more barrel aging in the taste it would help. Bottled 9/23/24. Maybe aging for much longer would help but I doubt it.
