Moderate pour from the can left a listless body of straw yellow with the tiniest haze. There is very mild carbonation therein and no head whatsoever. Aroma is mild lager notes, some cereal and grass, with a very mild sour funk. The feeling in the mouth is a little dull. Body seems washed out and the carbonation diluted to the point of being flat. I can't tell if it is supposed to be like this or if this is a dud. There is a pleasant, tangy kick in the back of the throat from the sour profile though. Taste is decent, but nothing exceptional. Starts with regular lager profiles of grass, wheat and barely but this quickly pushed aside for strong sour citrus, lots of lime, mash and peel. Sweet lime emerges after with the advertised agave coming around too, before the generic sour citrus carries the aftertaste. As a sour it's very average, as a lager, it does little to stand apart from a regular Mexican lager with lime wedge.
